Parvati Devi Deity and Temple

Private Client - West Bengal, India

Inspired by a local legend, this deity of Parvati, known as Simantini Devi, was carved in marble and installed in a village temple.

Being able to witness this form manifest from concept drawing to installation and worship in a temple made this project memorable.

This ornate design is for a curtain rod covering, matching the style of the puja mandira and carved in teak.
